Airline Credit Cards

An important aspect of a Airline Credit Card are the regulations. Cards without blackout dates are good because these means the airline mileage credits will not be restricted. Also seat restrictions are limiting and can be upsetting to consumers. A final important aspect is expiration of miles. Some cards require points to be used by a certain time, if you do not travel frequently a card without an expiration would better suit your needs.

Airline Credit Cards can target an individual airline. These cards are geared towards a specific airline for accumulating and using points. Delta is a popular individual Airline Credit card company that offers many incentives for flying Delta. Citi is less specific but has greater rewards for “over 25 of the world’s top airlines, major car rental companies and hundreds of luxurious hotels worldwide”. The AAdvantage program has spending limits.

Annual fee varies on each card and should be closely researched and understood to avoid confusion later. Some cards offer initially “no annual fee” and later charge a high amount.
