No Credit History
No Credit History is something a lot of young people experience. Having never had a credit card before or a loan they have not built a good credit score. It may be difficult to start the cycle of building credit because some banks are unwilling to lend to you.
Credit risk can be evaluated by your employment history, bank accounts, residence history and having utilizes in your name. These factors can help open doors for you to build your credit. Some options are going to your bank, they may be more open to lending to you because your already a customer, or trying a department store credit card, these cards are normally easy to get and help to build credit.
A final option to build credit is to get a secured card from your bank. A secured card acts like a credit card but it has a deposit on the credit line. This allows the bank to have collateral for any unmade payments.
After the initial period of good credit practices (making payments on time and keeping debt low) credit history should be built allowing you to obtain a credit score and apply for more credit cards.
